Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Services
TBI is a trauma that has occurred as a closed- or open-head injury caused by an external event that results in damage to brain tissue, with or without injury to other body organs. The insult or damage may produce an altered state of consciousness and may result in a decrease in cognitive, behavioral, emotional, or physical functioning resulting in partial or total disability.
Our Approach
At Graceful Aging Home Care we understand that the severity of a traumatic brain injury can vary widely from person to person. Therefore, creating an individualized care plan to meet each client’s specific needs is the first step to providing high quality home care. After the individualized care plan is created, we focus on ensuring that our client’s activities of daily living are met and promote independence where appropriate.
